Animal Week at Wesley House!

The week of March 29 is Spring Break for Knox County students and for Wesley House participants it's also Animal Week! Throughout the week, we will be teaching about animals that the kids will be tested on during Knox County's TCAPs. The kids will research and learn about animals from many different environments, participate in crafts and create presentations to share at the end of the week.

To wrap up this fun, Wesley House kids would like to adopt an animal at the Knoxville Zoo and have chosen the snow leopard. They have created paintings in order to raise money, which will be available for purchase at $2 each, with additional donations welcome. Money raised above the $50 adoption cost will help pay for a special field trip to the zoo on the last day of Spring Break. Paintings will be available starting Monday, February 22 through Friday, March 26.
