Creating Community, Creating Change

Dear Community

For 103 years, Wesley House has been helping the families in the Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, and Beaumont communities. From the very beginning in 1907, as a day care center, until today as a tutoring center, Wesley House changes to meet the needs of the community.

As we look to the future, we know that we are going to be growing and changing again. Our communities continue to grow in the Latino population. There continues to be needs for tutoring of our elementary students. Many of our families need assistance and guidance in jobs, financial management, and computer skills. And the Senior citizen population is growing at an ever increasing pace.

And as these things change in our local society, there are changes in the business world that we must keep up with also. This new website is one of those changes. For several months, we have had a page on the webs social network site Facebook.  Over the coming months, you will see updates to this website, an e-newsletter, a new logo, and several other changes to help us keep pace as a business.

We hope you like the new things we are doing but also have peace in the assurance that we will still deliver our Christian message to those we serve. Please feel free to come by and visit in person at anytime. Or if you have any comments or suggestions, you may contact us at (865) 524-5494 or email us at info@wesleyhouse.com. We look forward in hearing from you and to continue helping this community for another 100 years.

In His Service,

Richard Gibson, Executive Director
