STEP

Our Summer Time Enrichment Program (STEP) is designed to help families during the summer when school is out of session.  Because we understand the need for kids to have a safe and secure environment  while mom and dad are at work we have a daily program that runs from 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for nine weeks. During those nine weeks we serve breakfast and lunch and we continue to offer Reading and Math instruction so that the kids are well prepared when they return to school in the fall.  We also offer weekly field trips, swimming and theme weeks. When we are not doing academics or taking an off site field trip, the kids get to hear guest speakers, participate in volunteer projects and recreation.  Wesley House offers inner-city children the opportunity to make positive child-hood memories that last a lifetime.
